Feel free to show off your Church.  They may be just a building but they are also a focal point of faith and service.Continue

I am currently in Kentucky, saving to move to Colorado with my husband, after having lived in Arizona and New Mexico for nearly 10 years.
I also have a small Christian Steampunk themed outreach I run.

The hay days of folks searching for a forum like this on any subject seems to have passed.  First they migrated to FaceBook but complained that you had trouble holding a conversation then on to new "kiddie" apps.

Our nearby SP event attendance seems to be generally growing.  More folks have SP clothes in their closets.   Our last SP murder mystery had almost as many SteamPunks dressed out as VandaliaCon.  Sadly, due to too many real life issues, this year's SP Cruise sounds like it will be the smallest even though folks were excited about Cuba.  The SP Cruise requires both a bit of money and time.

I wonder why all the Steampunk sites are drying up. is there another 'app' people are using? once it was Meetup, and i went to several events there. pretty much all the sites i find now are zombie-ville kinda like here. buncha names and faces, but 'nobody home'.

i'd love to know if there are any steampunkers around albuquerque NM that i might be able to build friendships with. if not, i dont mind having long distance friends too. i do like to write, and have a fancy pen, so even pen-pals are cool. i would just like to really connect with some real steampunkers, not just 'cosplayers'. i like to build, and help people, and make actually working steampunkery that makes life better.
